It’s beginning to feel a LOT like SPRING is coming..
Whether or not your local weather has quite caught up to the season, we think there’s no point in waiting to make this easy to make, downright delicious frozen yogurt. Did we mention it’s also super healthy??
We call this “freestyle” fro-yo because you can substitute pretty much every element. Below we use blueberries & non-fat yogurt as a guide. Not a fan of blueberries? You can use 4 cups of basically any frozen fruit (for example, we also love this with frozen mango) – you’re free to use normal style and full-fat yogurt – and you can also add seeds, nuts, almond butter, cocoa nibs, coconut flakes, or any other toppings to make this recipe your own. Go wild!
– 4 cups frozen blueberries
– 1/2 cup of nonfat plain greek yogurt
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1 Tbs lemon juice
Step 1: Throw them into a blender, cuisinart, vitamix, bullet, or use an immersion blender.. whatever you got.
Step 2: Oh wait — that’s it.
For a firmer texture, pour into a shallow baking dish and freeze for a few hours.
